Daily Summary:

September 13. Friday.
TOPAZ data were collected from about 0752 to 1847 CDT, bracketing the NASA P-3 and King Air flights. P3 missed approaches at approximately 1105, 1334, and 1610 CDT. Some low clouds early and FWC midday, but mostly clear by late afternoon. Very low surface O3 (less than 10 ppbv) early, increasing to nearly 70 ppbv before decreasing again as the Gulf breeze arrived. NE winds early, later rotating N and then back to E and SE. and the winds shift from E to SE. Higher ozone (60-70 ppbv) aloft in the late afternoon.

Note: Biases due to clouds have not yet been fully corrected.
