    The Millimeter Cloud Radar (MMCR) measure the vertical profile of clouds as they pass over the radar. Reflectivity is a measurement of the strength of the return echo, indicating the size of the cloud particle. Doppler velocity is a measurement of the particle's vertical speed. Warmer colors indicate the particle is rising while cooler colors indicate it is falling. Spectral width is an indication of the variety of sizes of particles sampled.
