Employee Spotlight: Meet Shannon Kelly

The Physical Sciences Laboratory welcomes administrative support assistant Shannon Kelly, who began working for the Budget and Administration Group on October 17th. Shannon currently provides support to four of PSL's research teams (BLO, HMA, HOP, and POP). Before coming to NOAA, she was an administrative assistant at NIST's Time and Frequency Division for nearly four years. Her career also includes working as a training coordinator for the Boulder Community Hospital Imaging Department, and with students with disabilities for 11 years at a Jefferson County middle and high school.

Shannon's pride and joy are her two lovely daughters, one who was recently married, and the other who works and attends college in Ft. Collins. She enjoys spending time with her daughters and her friends, sitting in her hot tub, listening to books on tape, watching movies, singing in a chorus in Boulder, traveling, and hanging out with her two poodles.
