data.edit.mergewx

data.edit.mergewx merges external MET data in the form of wx records into the data stream. The merge consists of a bitwise OR of the contamination bits set and replacing any wind speed and/or direction fields with the MET specified ones.

There are two modes of operation, the first is the fully automatic mode used from within the environment set up by data.edit.get. The second is as a filter on its input (it must be given the wx record stream to do anything in this mode).

data.edit.mergewx

Does not require any arguments in either mode.
