C-LIM Version 1.1 update
To produce forecasts closer to real-time, we have switched SST datasets from surface skin temperature from the NCEP-NCAR reanalysis, which is available three days behind, to the NOAA High-resolution Blended Analysis of Daily SST and Ice dataset (AVHRR-only) (version 2), which is available only one day behind. This allows the 7-day running mean forecast initialization to be centered 4 days ago instead of 6 days ago. A slightly finer grid (5 degrees in latitude and longitude) has also been introduced.
