According to Judy, things "went like clockwork". We had a very thin cloud deck, lots of blue sky, and in general much clearer than it has been for several days. Was a good day for cloud microphysics, LES and radiation mapping. We remote sensing types at the surface very much appreciated the passes directly above the ship, especially the one at 300 feet which Comments and Missionlooked like a strafing run. Todays deserts Recommendations (all home made fresh) are chocolate cake, chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry mouse and caramel fudge. It must be time to hit the stairmaster........ Latest terascan loop ends at 3:56 UT. Looks like SHEBA still in SW flow, low to NW and mixed areas of low cloud alone, and low and high cloud together. Ceilings are lower than they have beenfor the last week, but surface mapping mission should be ok today. looks like we will have some sunny periods with scattered, broken cloudines. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
