Biography

Ryan is a scientific programmer who has been working on the ESMF project since 2007. Ryan's work with ESMF concentrates on the metadata handling capabilities, remapping support, and Python interfaces. He supports the open source movement, and is interested in using free software to extend the lifespan of 'outdated' hardware. Ryan enjoys climbing and skiing, as well as growing, cooking and eating wholesome organic foods.
