What is the Java Zone? This website was created to support Earth System Research Lab's (ESRL) Core Java class scheduled to begin October 2, 2006. The course material and schedule can be accessed from this site. What is the Core Java class? A Java training course that will take place at DSRC in Boulder starting in October, 2006. The course will cover the core concepts and common APIs for Java and will consist of approximately 50% lecture and 50% lab (hands-on programming exercises on a computer). Core Java class prerequisites All that is required is some sort of background in programming languages and a willingness to show up to class and learn Java. Where and when will Core Java be taught? Class is scheduled to begin the first week of October and last for several months. It will be held in GD309 (just around the corner from the fitness room). |
