In our continuing effort to stay abreast of recent observations concerning trace gases, aerosols, radiation, ozone, and climate forcing and to provide a forum in which these observations can be relayed and discussed, we will be presenting the ESRL monitoring and research results of the past year. The meeting is not limited to ESRL reports and includes observations related to these themes by both independent and cooperative investigators, and other national and international programs. We welcome your active participation at this annual conference.
* - Continuous atmospheric monitoring began in 1957 at the Mauna Loa and South Pole Baseline Observatories, a 55 year record. It is expected that such monitoring will continue for another 55 years and beyond.
