Fill in the values below to produce custom plots of FLEXPART archived tracers.
You can plot horizontal and/or vertical cross sections.

For an overview of currently available forecasts see FLEXPART and FLEXTRA static forecast products.

Type of Tracer
  • Choose a project (Information on the different projects)
    project:
  • Enter the tracer type
    tracer:
  • Enter the maximum tracer mixing ratio and maximum column (in case of
total column plots) to be contoured
max. mixing ratio (ppbv): max. column (mg/m2):
  • What kind of color scale would you like?
  • Would you like to get your plots as post script, too?
Time and age class
  • Enter the tracer age you would like to plot
    age class:
  • Select the time of the cross-sections
    year month day hour
  • Would you like to plot a single image, or a movie?
If you would like a movie, the date entered above is the beginning time of the movie.
Now enter the time step of the movie , the type of animation and the ending time of the movie.

  • Would you like to plot a horizontal or vertical cross section?
  • Would you like to plot nested output fields?

  • Horizontal cross section
    • Enter the altitude (meters):
For a total column plot, enter -1

    • Would you like to plot meters above sea level or meters above ground level?
    • What kind of projection?
    • The interactive maps change according to the selected projection
    Vertical cross section
Enter the latitudes and longitudes manually or use the interactive tool
    • Enter the left-hand latitude and longitude of the vertical cross-section
West longitude locations must include a negative sign
