Boulder, Colorado will be the site for the 22nd International Symposium on Gas Kinetics in 2012 (GK2012). This prestigious biennial symposium is sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry, an international society promoting the advancement of research in the field of kinetics. The week-long symposium brings together leaders and scholars in theoretical and experimental studies covering a broad range of research fields including gas kinetics, photochemistry, combustion theory, heterogeneous processes, astrophysics, and atmospheric chemistry. These symposia provide an open forum for presenting the latest results in the field of kinetics. The organization of the symposium is a joint effort of members of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), University of Colorado Boulder (CU), and National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). The Polanyi Lecture video is now available.
